With CUPE Saskatchewan’s 2023 Convention underway, delegates elected J.R. Simpson as vice-president and Erin Auchstaetter recording secretary during elections held on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

Previous to being elected CUPE Saskatchewan’s vice-president, Simpson served a term as recording secretary. Simpson is an education support worker and member of CUPE 2268 who works with students with special needs. He’s also a custodian and member of CUPE 3730.

Erin Auchstaetter was elected recording secretary. An education assistant, Auchstaetter is a member of CUPE 4784 and serves as local secretary-treasurer.
