CUPE represents members working in various Community-Based Organizations (referred to as CBOs) across Saskatchewan which provide child care, social care and vocational training for people living with disabilities, and community services such as shelters and addictions treatment through multiple agencies in various cities and towns.
There are approximately 33 CUPE Local Unions in the CBO sector across Saskatchewan. CUPE Local Unions have formed a provincial sectoral group known as: CUPE CBO Workers of Saskatchewan.

Registration information will be forthcoming with official notice to CUPE Local Unions in July, 2021.
All CUPE Local Unions in the Community-Based Organization Sector are invited to attend the upcoming virtual Annual General Meeting of the CUPE CBO Workers’ of Saskatchewan (CBO Steering Committee).
In order to register and attend the event with voting delegates, CUPE Local Unions will need to establish affiliation to the CUPE CBO Workers of Saskatchewan.
Now is the perfect time to consider affiliation!
Affiliated Local Unions with a total membership of up to twenty-five (25) members are entitled to three (3) delegates, and Local Unions with a total membership of twenty-six or more (26+) members are entitled to four (4) delegates to attend the AGM.

CBO TRI-UNION EVENTS & NOTICES:
Workers in the community-based organization (CBO) sector are represented by three unions across Saskatchewan: CUPE, SEIU-West and SGEU. Annually, the three unions join together for a CBO Tri-Union Conference. CUPE Local Unions select their delegates to attend the conference.
