With several locals reporting new cuts to pre K – 12 education support workers and student enrolment increasing, we wish to hold a conference call with all Education Sector CUPE Local Presidents to determine exactly where and to what extent cuts are occurring to CUPE members and/or their hours of work, and which classifications are being impacted. Cuts to CUPE members’ hours can also include cuts to student playground/lunch supervision.
