CUPE Local 3766 is pleased to announce that its members have ratified a five-year collective agreement after more than four years of bargaining.
“The collective agreement reflects fair compensation increases,” said Jackie Christianson, president of CUPE Local 3766. “Thank you to our CUPE Local 3766 bargaining committee for their steadfast commitment to the bargaining process and resolute belief that our members are worthy.”
Highlights of the agreement include a seven per cent wage increase; $1,000 signing bonus; market adjustment for elementary administrative assistants and science assistant; improvements to supervision allowance; and the conversion of a significant amount of temporary members to permanent status.
“We want to thank the Regina Board of Education Division 4 for their openness and cooperation throughout this process and look forward to a continued successful partnership.”
CUPE represents over 7,000 education support workers across the province of Saskatchewan, including over 800 support staff at the Regina Public School Division.
