Sask Seniors’ Summit hosted by CUPE 5430

On November 23, join us for the first ever Saskatchewan Seniors’ Care Summit. Learn from family members, workers and researchers and be part of building solutions that work for the people of Saskatchewan.

CUPE 5430, Saskatchewan’s largest health care union, is hosting the event which will bring together participants from across the province.

The keynote address will be given by Doctor Susan Braedley, an associate professor at the School of Social Work at Carleton University, who will be speaking on her new report Crumbling Away: Saskatchewan’s Long-Term Residential Care Policy and Its Consequences.

Other speakers include Danielle Chartier, NDP Seniors Critic, Amanda Vyce, CUPE National Health Care researcher, and Audrey Nerbas, who will be giving a family perspective on care.
